Gangsterism Awareness Campaign and Youth Month Celebration with University of Limpopo

The Sebayeng SAPS (South African Police Services) together with CPF ( Community Police Forum) DIMAMO and University of Limpopo, Department of Home Affairs, Social Development and SASSA as well Polokwane Municipality. The initiative was held at Makotopong Village sports field between the primary schools. The campaign is aimed at ending the scourge of bullying at schools and substance abuse as well as human trafficking within the community. The campaign is rolled out in a form of conducting dialogue whereby questions are being answered.

The CPF youth desk chairperson Mr Letsoalo stated that most victims are women, and it’s important for woman to notify their parents about their whereabouts for their own safety. He pleaded with the parents to support their girl children as youth and not to pressurize them to provide for a living.

The members of the community have been asked to work together with the SAPS to align their vision of fighting the crime
